ADL Hosts South Korean Content Creators

Regional Director Seth Brysk and Deputy Director Teresa Drenick met with a delegation of Korean content creators visiting the US through a program aimed at introducing influential media personalities to communities and institutions that confront social challenges and shape the American experience. Organized by the The Asia Foundation and funded by the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, the program seeks to deepen insights, inform perspectives and strengthen the bonds of understanding between Koreans and Americans. The delegates participated in a wide array of meetings with civil society, community and political leaders as well as students, educators and influencers. The meeting with ADL explored the state of antisemitism and extremism in the U.S. with a focus on combating both in online spaces. In depth discussions explored the ways in which ADL works with schools, corporations and government to fight hate. The delegates posed insightful questions that sparked lively conversation and revealed a deep appreciation of the work we do.
